Any set up and repair DVDs?(and quick neck?)

that aren't 45 dollars? And how does one go about making sure all the notes are in tune on the neck? I just set up my 71Precision for the first time on my own and it seems to be fine other than the notes being a little flat on the upper part of the neck and the action is just a tiny bit high over the 12 fret. It's not terribly bad just a little bit.

I fell in love with this thing all over again. I have always been too afraid to play this bass out but that's ridiculous this bass needs to be played. Just have to keep it safe. I think this may turn into my main bass. I had flats on it for the longest time but decided recently to put round wounds on it now and wow talk about BOOM! That was the reason for the set up when I put the new strings on they were basically just lying on the neck with no space at all. I decided to give a set up a try on my own (extremely brave of me) and I didn't screw it up! (at least I don’t think I did).

I was so blown away by the tone of this thing I had my wife listen to the all my basses through the headphones, 55-01-62RI Jazz and the 71 Precision, guess which one she picked as her favorite tone? Anyway sorry I’m rambling I’m just excited.

Maybe you should rephrase the question:

Are there any set up and repair videos that don't cost as much as a set up?

It seems a fair price to pay for what is essentially an infinitely repeatable master class with one or more of the top practitioners of the craft. Maybe look at it this way. It is like buying a coupon book to get discounts from restaurants and movies. If you buy one of these videos and learn how to do it right (and efficiently) you will be getting a 90% discount on the next ten set ups.

Your absolutely right and I understand where you're coming from. I was just trying to bargin shop for a deal on one. I'm not complaining about the price of them by any means. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any cheaper ones available.
That's all.
Joe
And let me "rephrase" my question. Can anyone reccomend a set up and repair dvd that's worth however much it is?
