Anybody have screw dimensions for Fender basses?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm tired of expensive crappy replacement screws for pick guards, TUNERS, neck bolts bridges, etc. Has anyone taken the time to chart out the actual dimensions of standard fender screws so that they can purchased from a fastener store instead of a guitar store? IF you have, would you share? I'm ruler impaired and can't tell a 12/16" from a 8/32"

I'll start with what I know:
Pickguard: Number 2 screw,1/4" length.

I too would love to know, as currently I have my J bass totally disassembled and might as well put quality screws in. In my Mim the pickguard screws aren't that bad, but ANY hex is junk, way too soft.

Generally if you take one of the screws with you to a good hardware store, you can get a nice employee to help you get right replacements, measurements like your asking for arent needed, just a example of the screw.
