| Anyone Defret A Gibson Ripper (or, say, A Grabber)?

I have a 1974 Gibson Ripper that I am considering defretting.
I've searched the Basses And Setup And Repair forums - plenty of info on defretting basses, but nothing
specifically about a Gibson Ripper.
I know that some frets are harder to remove than others, and am just wondering how the Ripper frets
would come out. I suppose I could remove the highest fret to find out.
