I live in Fitchburg, MA. Anyone who lives near by knows our weather has been pretty f-ed up for the past few weeks.
The constant humidity changes are driving me crazy. On my bass, I had to do 2 truss rod adjustments this month, and retune almost daily because my bass will go sharp or flat VERY quickly. ugh.

My only basses that haven't become unplayable have graphite or aluminum reinforced necks. I've begun setting up the others, and the first bass has needed truss rod adjustment and the nut shimmed. I'm glad I can do this sort of thing myself. |

Up here in cowhampshire it's just as bad. I have some thin necks so it's a normal thing to do a few adjustments a year but this year even the P and Pilot are moving around, that never happens.

Every time I pick up my bass to play I have to check the tuning because the strings are sharp. Don't know why, I havn't touched the truss rod because the action is always the same. I just chalk it up to the humidity. Damn, I'm getting really tired of all this rain!

I have a humidifier I run all winter and a dehumidifier I run all summer. Thats about the only way I can avoid constantly scewing with them
