Unhappy anyone ever moved the strap button/knob?

Sign in to disble this ad
I want to play my bass so that the neck is almost vertical, it seems more easy on my wrists
so I was thinking of moving the knob/button(where the strap attaches to the body) on the bottom up a little. Has anyone ever done this or know of an easier solution?

thanks

Yes, and it's very easy to do. Put your strap on the top button but keep the rear one detached. Now, just hold the strap against the body and move it up and down until you get the right playing angle. Mark it there and install the button.
