anyone had their bass set up by one of those PLEK thingies?

not quite sure what they are called exactly but i was wondering if they where any good or just a pile of bull

I have absolutely no fret buzz on my basses, and they all feel comfortable, and I did all of my own setups.

Sorry that doesn't help answer the topic question though...

The whole PLEK thing sounds good in theory, but I too am curious as to how effective it is.

I received a G&L that went through their new Plek machine, and the neck was excellent, with low action and no buzz at all. The G&L tech said it makes his life easier and gets great results.

so are they as good as they say on the website?

i am considering getting my Fodera plek'd next time a need a set up (whenever that is)
