Anyone know anything about this 1970's Schecter Fretless Fender neck?

I just inherited this (don't worry, she is still alive) from my mom. She said she got it in high school (Class of 80) for her Fender Jazz (which she unfortunately did not keep). Anyone know anything about it? All I know is that its a Schecter. It has 11/16" tuner holes. Its a 1 piece. Also on the heel it says Schecter and 24 and 20 stamped next to each other, but the 20 is upside down so that it almost looks like 2402, with the last 2 being upside down. Anyways, I haven't been able to find a whole lot about Schecters stuff in the 70s except that they made parts for fender and gibson stuff. Anyone else have any more info or any idea of a value (not that I'm getting rid of it or anything.)

Schector did sell DIY parts and kits for guitar and bass. I put together a Satin Walnut P/J Bass with a '71 Fender fretless neck, in the early 80's It's been my main bass until very recently( Got a Warwick).
It is wired stereo(Schector), and currently in the process of a refin. Sure you don't want to sell the neck? I am building a heavily modified Jazz....it has a fretted neck with it.....I would prefer a fretless. Cool Neck you have.

Thanks StereoPlayer. Definitely don't want to sell it. Mom might kill me. I also have her little fender tube amp. She had an american standard jazz... but she sold it. I really want to mate it up with a natural rear rout p-body, but that's going to have to wait till I get tax money back. Then I'll have to learn how to play some fretless.

Forgot to say my P/J is backrouted also. It really is a fine sounding and playing bass.
I really prefer playing fretless and stereo basses.
I am prob going to complete the fretted neck that came with the bass kit...but will either pull the frets or get a fretless neck from bEay.
I think I'm got to start a winter build thread this weekend...I don't know about you but I like to "follow" build threads here on TB!
Maybe this weekend I'll post my Schector P/J on this thread...for some reason I have never posted a pic of it!?!
