What do you guys think of Warwick machine heads? Are they any good? Should I use Grover or Schaller ones instead? Just asking as the warwick ones are about 1/2 the price.

I have never replaced the machine heads on my '97 thumb bass 5 string and I am ALWAYS in tune. Our drummer jokes that I only check my tuning because I like the pretty lights! What more can you ask from a machine head?

Does Anyone know where I can get a drop tuner for my WArwick Fortress 1? A real one from the early 90's.

My warwick is almost never out of tune, and I play aggressively when I'm on stage. Those machine heads are worth every penny and more.
