Anyone painted a bass with Duratex?

So I got this fretless Foundation that I broke down and have been sanding down to nil. I also have this BFM cab that I am building and getting close to finishing. And I start to think that it might be cool to have a whole bunch o crap that matches. Cabs match the rack match the effects/ accessories case match the bass. A whole bunch of maroon, black, and silver over by the bassists hole .

Has anyone refinished a bass with Duratex? Are there any notable pros or cons with doing something like that, or am I going to be the guinea pig .
