Anyone use an online luthier?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have one near me, but hear he is kind of an ******** and heard some other bad reviews.
Is there any well priced luthier online?
Any other option?

I have a mim fender jazz bass and want the following modifications.

1) Install Custom Shop 60's j-bass pickups.

2) Replace the bridge with a Badass II.

3) Professionally set-up and have the frets dressed.

4) Replace the stock tuners with new vintage-style reverse 60's tuners.

Open to any suggestions on bridge pickups and tuners.

Cheers

Moonstar Guitars in Eureka might be able to help you out website, unless that's the not-so-nice person you mentioned. Don't know if they're an "online luthier" but might be local to you.

how they gonna fix your bass over the web?
You could go to the luthier section here on TB and read up on the work on some people and then PM the people you find suitable

No problem. Would be great if you would let us know how it works out for you for other folks in your neck of the woods.
