Have any of you guys shimmed your neck pocket? I just got my hands on a UV70 5, and the bridge saddle on the G string was bottomed out. However, the string height on the G is twice as what I'd like. I expected the Sadowsky to be able to get really low without shimming, so I'm wondering if others have shimmed their Sadowskys.

Is the truss rod adjusted correctly? I'd be shocked if a Sado required shimming.

Yeah the relief is set up perfectly fine. I wasn't shocked nor disappointed, just a bit surprised that I'd need to shim a Sadowsky.
