B2A FL/Steinberger Tuner Lubrication

I bought an old Hohner B2A FL that I have been getting back in playing shape (I got it cheap as it was pretty grunged up, but all the electronics were good, minimal body dings, good neck, etc.).

The tuners are a little stiff - hard to get turning but easy to turn once moving - I suspect they need to be disassembled, cleaned.

When I put the bridge back together should it be lubed? What is the recommended lubricant?
