Once set up it locks all the intonation and srting height in and does not vary. Great bridge - not as gnarly as a badassII but the other features give it the edge. Slots straight in no mods!

| | | | I have had one on my '62 reissue P for a few months now. Huge improvement in tone, body wood resonance, sustain, etc. It makes my bass sound more like it should, if that makes sense. |

If you received this bridge 2nd hand, the seller may have been wrong about the string spacing of your bridge. Besides that, you shouldn't get drastic volume differences with the pole pieces being off just a few millimeters.

4st ...79€ is reasonable .
5st...139€...60 € difference to the 4 ??? Nearly double ???
US price
4st ...$99.77
5st... $119.77 ...$20 difference
Disproportionate to say the least . |

If I order direct and pay $29 shipping !'d still save 30€ and then probably get hammered by Customs . Now, who do I know who's going to the US in Summer ??? HaHA !!!

When there's less market demand for something the price goes down in order to sell stocked gear. However, when you start off from that assumption, and produce just the amount you think is going to sell, you can raise the price, which is what happens with those bridges.

The severe price increase always happens at one point in the chain - to the one taking the risk. Babicz knows that he will get them out of factory. No doubt it's an ******* move @ thomann, however, even all economics taken into account, it's not nice, but the life isn't either.
