I just installed one on my main jazz bass the other day. Big improvement.

Personally, I don't like the BAII but you should try one and decide for yourself.

I didn't really notice any increase in sustain on any of the 3 I installed. What I appreciate is the overall precision of the the bridge. String adjustmets can be dialed in perfectly. The un cut saddles alow me to put the strings at the exact spacing I want also.

It looks cool, the precision of adjustments that can be made, etc.

It's kind of like a badge of honor to have one on your bass

a bent piece of metal as a bridge doesn't sit well with me, I'd rather have something substantial and machined with precision.

Not really, no. They're higher quality than most bent plate bridges, but I don't think they offer any tonal improvement.

I've owned a few over the years and I have them on my two Js. The ones I bought were both pre-cut with saddle grooves, however (both are about 15 years old). Does Badass offer the option of pre-cut or uncut grooves?

Now they do, pjmuck.

I personally think they're cool. And a steal used.

the coolness factor alone should warrant the purchase.

Marcus and Geddy use one. Just a small endorsement.

+100

it gives you an excuse to drop the word badass in a casual conversation about gear.
