Question badass bridge spacing questions

I have a 5 string badass bridge that i am installing and i am wondering if i should notch the saddles or if i shouldn't?

you will need to notch them... nut files work best

what kind of bass, with what kind of pickups?

yes, the badass needs to be notched to perform properly, and the spacing can be critical depending on the instrument.
