The Badass II bass bridge

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey Guys,

So what do you think of the Leo Quan Badass II bass bridge? They seem to be discontinued and getting a little hard to come by. I just found and ordered one after a long search on the internet. I haven't received it yet, but everything I read seems to be good. I'm putting it on my 1985 all black fender jazz special. I wanted to see what you all think, and if you have any suggestions for installation.

Thanks!!

They are most definitely NOT discontinued. I do not like them much.

Lottsa mixed opionion about them.

So what's the big deal with BAII bridges?

And, lottsa threads about them too. This search took me about 45 seconds.

They're are a nice, hefty bridge. I have one on my squier jazz. Though you have to file your own saddle grooves. But thats not a hard job. but its a direct fender replacement so no extra drilling is involved.

You can get them pre-slotted too.

Good bridge! About a year ago, I replaced the Badass I that I had on my bass so I could let my high school students play on it and play it at church. The giant word "BADASS" on the bridge was pretty awesome when I was 19, but has lost a lot of its charm.

They are the only bridges I play. I have it on my Jazz now, and my old basses had them. I highly recommend it!
