Hi, would a badass II bridge fit well on a squier vintage modified jazz bass? Also what other similar bridges to the badass are there?

Thanks

I have a BAII on my Jazz Bass and it fits perfectly. It is a parts bass but it was built to Fender specs.

squier vintage modified jazz bass - It looks like the standard 5 hole set up.

So yeah a bad ass II fits but a gotoh 201 is a serious candidate here too.

Sure:

"it's a bridge. It will hold your strings on the bass. It's spaced a little narrower than the magnets on jazz pickups, which matters to some people (like me) but not to others."

I've had Hipshots and BAII's on my Fenders, and the next time (after hearing a couple on other bassist's Fenders) I'm going with the Gotoh 201. The Gotoh seems to be able to capture everything from vintage to modern. Whatever your choice...you can't get hurt. That said: I could sell one of my BAII's and buy 3 Gotohs. Only the buyer/player can determine what's best for themselves

They are both fine bridges. What benefit are you expecting? If it is just looks, they also both look great. If you're looking for a big change in tone...let me get my popcorn.
But my interpretation of your original post and your subsequent post leads me to believe it is either a looks-based or cost-based decision. But again, they are both good bridges.

Got one and like it a lot. It is a very good bridge for the money, IMO. The BAII is much better, but may ot be what you really want. There is such a thing as too much. But I would recommend both. If sustain is a big concern, the BAII will be better.

Easy. The Gotoh, but black out the 2nd "o".
