BadAss II on my MIM Fender Jazz

I was always under the impression that the BadAss II was a direct drop in on Fender basses. I have never owned this bridge, but I plan on getting one soon. This guy who used to work with me said that new holes have to be drilled in order for the new bridge to fit on a MIM Fender. So which is it? Is it a direct drop-in or do I have to re-drill new holes?

hey......

I just replaced the stock bridge of my MIJ75ri with a BadassII ......and it certainly was a 'drop-in' replacement.

I'm certain there is someone who can speak for a MIM.......I see if I can spark 'em up to give you a solid answer !!!

I did it to my old MIM Jazz. The holes matched up perfectly.

It was a bolt in on both my MIM J and MIM P.

How much did it cost? How much different did it sound?Do they(Bad Ass) have a website?
