Building a JB, trying to decide.....

I like the look of the schaller, but is it any good against the Badass..?

Also trying to decide between schaller and hipshot lightweight tuners...bith look solid.

Thoughts and facts greatly appreciated.

Thx

Nicolai

I have basses with both types of bridges. Both are good quality and do what they were designed for well. I do like the Schaller's ability to set string spacing without having to file a notch in the saddle.

Hipshot and Schaller tuners are both quality parts. Looks are what would determine which I used for a particular instrument.

I have 2 roller bridges , not my favs though , everytime you change a string the roller rolls away so you need to then reset the width . I do like the BA's very much but my 1st choice is for a KTS and second choice goes to Babicz .

Hipshot for everything. The products are excellent and customer service is second-to-none.

Thanks guys.

Ordered hipshot tuners, and a Babicz bridge to go with the Nordstrand dualcore pickups.
