badass v bridge issue

hey everyone, i just purchased a new bass with a badass v bridge and strung it up with tapewounds - it sounds great, but it seems as though the a string is too thick for the bridge. whenever i play with my thumb it comes out of the crevice carved out for it. is there a fix for this?

Jewlers files and a bunch of time.. takes me about 4 hours to dial in a bridge like this.
