i know it sounds like a stupid question, but i have lost the bridge screws to my Quan. i know that they use a special mix for the bidge, but i don't know if they do for the screws as well. what i am asking, is are BAII screws just regualr screws, or is there something high quality of them? in case i can't find the screws, would any bridge screws of the right size work as good, or not?

No, they're regular wood screws. Ignore any marketing that says otherwise.

I don't know if this helps, but I just replaced my stock bridge on my Squier VM Jazz with a BAII. The BAII screws were longer than the stock bridge screws. I had to "screw down" the new BAII screws a bit. I don't know what the differences are between the Squier hardware and original Fender.

I do know this: That Squier VM Jazz Bass sounds awesome! It sounded great before the BAII, and now it has punchy, funky goodness. Maybe it's the screws?
