| I've seen it called a BEAD bass, & went with that. I suppose that is a proper term, in step with a baritone guitar. But "baritone bass" just sounds strange to me.
All that'd have to be done is nut slots; might want to just get a new nut & save the old one JIC.
Might need the B's string hole reamed out a bit.
&, like any string change, your action should be checked & possibly adjusted.
You might want to go up a step in gauge to get more tension & reduce the chances of a "floppy B". |
