Im pretty sure its either string height or neck reliefe, just not familia to know which for sure, so just looking for your guys input.

Some time it is the issue. Otherwise they could just be too high. Also, if it is a bolt on sometimes the neck joint os cuta wrong angle. I would check
the neck relief but if it is too flat you will get rattle all over the place. Add a bit of relief and se what happens. |

| | | I need help also, I got a VMJ but to me is clear that the string height is high, I replaced the stock strings for flats but from the 12th fret on it rattles, I tried adjusting the action by lowering the bridge but it just made it worse, by looking at the neck it "seems" fine, I tried adjusting it but nothing still the strings are to high and it buzzes a lot.

Mazatleco17: I'm really not sure what the problem might be, so I'm not going to try and help and risk screwing something up. Someone on here will probably chime in, or you can read the stick at the top of the forum for setup.

I normally use about an 1/8 to a 1/4 turn at a time on the truss rod.
