Bass Bridge Cover Question

Hey guys,
I have a Marcus Miller Jazz bass currently. I love it dearly, except one thing; I really wish it had a bass bridge cover. Now, before I do anything stupid, I wanted to ask how exactly are they applied? Furthermore, would the Bad Ass Bridge II on the Marcus Miller bass allow for it to be placed?
