Sign in to disble this ad
I dont know the right place to stick this post so forgive me ahead of time.

I need my bass set-up and a few things done, who knows a good bass guy in Houston who does good work. I live on the west side.

I refuse to use GC for repairs and set-up.

Thanks

Danny D's does very good work on the south side (League City), but not cheap.

The only thing I'd likely take there is my Ric, G&L L2000 (bought it there), and 76 Pbass. I've bought a lot of equipment from them over the years and their prices are reasonable, but for repair you are gonna pay. Danny has been at it a long long time and can handle anything but you do pay for that kind of expert service.

Cost almost $60 for me to get my nut fixed there... he did a damn good job though. And might I add that bass thier basses are always properly set up.

Man I want that 80's jazz bass they got there!

If you aren't too far from the Woodlands Mike Nedd is reasonable price wise and a good guy to deal with. Might take a couple weeks.

I do not recommend going to Ron Pace. If you search a little you will read a few stories that may sway you toward my opinion. His work has a good rep. in terms of quality but he is an uber-jerk by many accounts (mine included) and takes somewhere between a month and forever. I posted a thread about it a while back if you want to dig it up.
