bass refinish reference

i was thinking about getting a new jag bass but cant stand the red and black is not my favorite eather, and i was just wondering if anyone could refer me to a place were i could get a cheap refinish. i dont want crappy, but i dont want to pay $700 eather. i found a place that will do it for 160, does it get any cheaper?

Check out ishibashi-music.com or guitarjapan.com; they offer up Jaguars in a 3 color sunburst for sure, maybe other colors too. Might be an easier way to go.

Talk to an auto body shop, they may be able to do it for you.

Other than that, $200 is about the minimum I'd pay for a refin.
