Bass tuners

Ive got an sqiuer affinity p-bass that i want to work a little bit on it. A major problem is that the tuners doesnt turn well, they kind of give sacaded shots and thats annoying, so i wanted to change them, but i horribly found that the holes of in the head are too small for typical fender tuners and i want to keep that clover leaf. I looked at the gear inside and it is also horribly small. After a bit of research ive found that hipshot made tuners that fits 3/8 holes (same size of holes in my bass) with the clover leaf. But they are a bit expensive (almost 100$ for the set) and i wanted to know if you guys know another cheaper tuners that got the clover leaf and fits 3/8 hole.

Get a drill bit and go with the stock fender ones. Take ya 5 min to open them up.

I know you don't want to spend the $ on the Hipshot tuners, but I say they are worth the extra cost!
