I've got a 1988 4003 that I'm looking to put a bass xtender on.

Does anyone know which model will fit right with no extra holes?

Your best bet would be to contact (phone call) Hipshot directly.

Turns out is the 3/8" he6c clover leaf ultralight. And I would have to drill one extra hole.

Now to decide.

Just tune the bass DGCF and you don't need a new tuner.
