Bassman Combo 60 repair

Sign in to disble this ad
I originally posted this in Amps but it may have been the wrong spot.

During a move a knob (Treble) was knocked off my Combo 60 and the shaft that the knob sits on fell back into the electronics cavity. Even though the moving company is liable for the damages, in self interest I wanted to fix it myself.

How easily does this amp disassemble? I was concerned about the length of wire running from the electronics box in the top to the speakers below. Didn't know if the length of this cable would prevent me from just removing the top box from the outside casing or everything would have to come out?

Any advice, tips, and knowledge are welcome.

Cheers

No, you were right the first time - see the sticky at the top of this forum. Setup is for mechanical issues with your basses. Keep an eye on the Amps thread.

Good luck!
