Batteries?

how do i change a battery in my bass, i need to change soon i think and i want to be prepared lol.

it depends, some basses don't have batteries, some you have to unscrew the controll plate, some you can just open the battery box, if you tell us which bass you have, we can proably help you more

If that's your bass, then you have no batteries. You have a passive bass.

most fender knock offs will be passive in less it has a upgrade like the j-retro or audere (batt under the controls). if you see a battery cover on the back. pop it open theres your 9volt

that and alot of batterie basses will have eq's on the bass well any eq means theirs a batterie (pretty sure anyways) but ya to check just pop off the back cover and look if theirs a batterie or not

well theres no back cover on the bass so, i guess theres not then, but there still coul dbe one under the contorl?

there could be, but I doubt it, if there is a battery and it is dying you will be able to tell because the bass will start to distort

How many actually have them under the control? That seems like such a hassle. Mine only has it in the back.

You can always pop it open and rummage around. If you don't find anything, just put it back together.
