BB300 questions

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a neck through Yamaha BB3000 from Dec 1984. Black, passive, gold hardware, V, T and 3 way toggle. I have the following questions that perhaps someone can answer.

1. The bridge looks exactly like a typical std Fender bridge and is badly tarnished. Does anybody know if the (Fender replacement) Badass II bridge will fit as a direct replacement on a BB3000? Or, can someone tell me the exact screw-hole spacing on the Badass II (I can't see this on their website).

2. My bass has a V, T and a 3 way toggle switch. I like the V,V,T controls of a Jazz bass. Does anyone have a schematic for this wiring? The BB3000 mixes humbucking and single coil pickups which might be an issue.

Thanks, any comments appreciated.
