I recieved a pic from a guy that wants to sell a MIA Cirrus 5er. In one close up pic, his finger is pointing to the 2nd-3rd frets under the D string. In the pic it looks like the frets are actually dented down but it may just be that perception in the pic. I asked and he says it is just fretwear and that it causes no buzz or any issues at all, so seems he is being forthcoming about it.

I was just wondering if the frets are dented could this be a deal-breaker or easy (diy) repair if I take the bass. Also, I cant seem to post pics on TB but the bass is a dark blue-green looking body w/matching headstock seems to be sort of tigerstripe lined body. I think this is a common US Cirrus so dont certain colors come on certain woods, like this might be alder, based on this color. Looks to be the Pao Ferro board. But mainly concerned about the frets issue. If anyone wants to take time to look at the pic I could email it to you if you PM me otherwise, thanks in advance for any info.

It could be fretwear, and the frets could use a dressing. Depending on how deep, it should be no biggie. About a $150 repair depending on where you go.
