Best E-book or pdf on setting up basses?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys,

My band is going on tour at the end of the year and i really want to start learning how to set my bass up properly. It will save me money as well as save us getting a guitar tech. Need something that covers all the good stuff such as, wiring, set-up etc.

Thanks heaps

Well, it's not an e-book or a PDF, but a good book is the "FAQ: Bass Guitar Care and Setup" by John LeVan. It's a small (8"x 5 1/2") paperback so it'll easily fit in your case. It covers everything you need for setting up and making minor repairs on a bass. It's worth picking up. It's published by Mel Bay and costs $7.95 (probably cheaper at Amazon).
