So who makes the highest quality Fender replacement necks? Warmoth (USA), All Parts (Japan), Mighty Mite (not sure where these are made) or ???? Inquiring minds want to know!

I had a mighty might and wasn't all that happy with it, I have an All Parts jazz R/W neck with blocks & binding that I put the re-ranch vintage amber tint on it and am pretty happy with it

It just didn't feel right...kinda cheap and couldn't keep the neck adjusted. Maybe I just had a bad one, I did buy it used ~

I've been very happy with my Allparts jazz neck that I put on a Squier VM P bass to get the p-bass/jazz neck combo that I like. Its a rosewood board with vintage tint. Very smooth and feels great.

I choose Allparts over Warmoth based on a number of comments I have read on here that have said Warmoth necks feel chunkier.

Allparts for a somewhat Fender "look-a-like" neck and Warmoth for an excellent all'round neck that has a heftier profile and is a bit heavier due to it's steel stiffening bars and heavy duty trussrod.

Allparts for an old school look, Warmoth for anything past maple/maple, rosewood/maple, etc.

Allparts generally makes my favorite Fender-style neck for cheap, and on the high end, USACG is the shiznit.

Warmoth would be awesome if they would just stop putting those 50lb metal rods in their necks. I think they're awful simply because they are crazy heavy.

Warmoth, 100%. Best necks I've ever played, period.

(I also disagree with the supposed chunkiness - mine felt identical to my Am. Std. J, but slightly faster. )

MightyMite are fine necks, do the job well, but Warmoth I assume are better, with the wealth of options.

I have the same neck that heavychevy mentioned. I had Dan Atkinson darken the rosewood and apply a vintage tint. It looks fantastic, in my opinion; exactly what I was after! The neck also feels great. There is some site that sells All Parts stuff for a lot less than if you were to buy directly from their site. I can't remember what it is, unfortunately. They're a great bargain, there's no doubt about that.

I have used one Mighty Mite neck; an unlined fretless. It had a maple neck and an ebanol board. It was quite nice for such a cheap part. It was under $100, if I recall correctly. I wouldn't mind buying another if I wanted something simple (such as all maple or another unlined fretless). I love all of the choices that All Parts and Warmoth offer, though. I'm a big fan of blocks and binding on necks, which Mighty Mite does not offer to my knowledge.

I have no experience with Warmoth necks but they seem like the place to go for exotic neck and fretboard wood configurations.

I've had good luck with all those. My fav would be from USACG. In general I would say that their stuff is the top end, followed by Warmoth. What I've seen from both of those outfits is consistency. I've had some decent Mity Mite and Allparts and some not so much... nothing I couldn't rescue except for 1 Allparts bound & blocked that was very, very pretty and very, very heavy ... the USACG and Warmoth stuff doesn't ever need rescuing IME. More of an upgrade than a replacement...

Maybe another way of putting it is that I see the Allparts & Mity Mite stuff about on part with early Fender Highway 1 (pre-graphite) and Fender MIM. There is some variability there. If you get a good one, it's good period though.

Nice looking job on that P with J neck!

Warmouth all the way! I remember seeing Boogie Bodies necks back in the day before they split up. Warmouth makes a great product. A bass player at my church has a custom with a warmouth neck and its a righteous playing ax
