Hello
New here and my first post.
I have a couple of St Blues with Wilkinson machine heads (open vintage 17mm post) - standard PB/jazz style and I'm looking to replace them with better. Can anyone recommend the best - Hipshot / Schaller / Grover or a.n.other perhaps?
Thanks

it has 2n2 machines, would fender style machines work
i do realize that it would be bassackwards for the bottom two...

| | | | Thanks guys
It's the open type that I'm looking for (retro style bass). Assuming they fit, I'll try the Hipshots unless anyone thinks there's a better one out there?

You'll have to live with the open holes on the back of headstock but IMO it's a fair price to pay for a much more comfortable instrument. |
