Best Polish for METAL?

Talking tuning pegs here - have some issues with a relatively new MM Ray with machines that seem to be getting prematurely gunked up. What is a good polish to use on these? Thanks.

I've only ever used Flitz.

Useful thread! My Geddy Lee Jazz Bass tuning machines are a little dull and gunky-looking and I had been wondering what to use. Thanks!

Tough choice. My top 3 would have to be Vader, Yattering, and Decapitated.

LOVE the title!

I've used (and will continue to use) MOTHER'S BILLET POLISH. It's fantastic for hardware. Auto parts stores carry it.

You can use the Maguires (sp) Plastic Polish on metal for a finer grade of polish, and it also removes minor scuffs and scratches from poly finishes quite nicely.

Flitz is also just fine.

I second the reccomendation for Mother's. Billet Polish for routine stuff, and Mag and Aluminium for the super crudded.
