In a bind, fixing or finding replacement part

Sign in to disble this ad
Bah, in a bind. I was working on my SR506's setup and I notice my high C string was a bit hit so I was trying to lower the side that was higher. Well to my surprise I couldn't lower it, in fact in my stubbornness I am pretty sure I hollowed the Alan key so I can't even turn it, and using a pair of pliers I pretty much messed up the grooves on the other end of the screw. I was able to get the nut out totaling using a vice grip and just turning it til it went though. Anyway is there a way to fix the nut altogether or more simply where can I just buy a replacement bridge saddle (not the whole thing just the one that is messed up)

Hmm, that's a tough one. Ibanez might sell the individual saddles. I'd call up your local Guitar Center and see if they know. It may be easiest to have them order it as well.
