Black paint on a BADV

I have a BADV that is black. I would like to remove paint from it so that it is chrome. Will just stripping the paint off of it with paint stripper be good enough.

Two thoughts. First, good luck with stripper. I highly doubt that it would put a dent in it. Second, it will only be chrome under there if it was chromed before it was made black. Did you paint it black? If so, then the stripper might work.

Nope it came with the bass and it looks like it was ordered that way. it looks nice but for what I want with some mods I am doing, I would prefer chrome.

Then you may be out of luck, notwithstanding a trade.

You'd have to grind the paint off and it won't be chrome underneath. Better just swap it out.

Put it on the classifieds, I would love to trade my chrome one for a black one (if I had a 5er)
