i ordered a pair of black hipshot tuners from ebay to put on my Musicman stingray. the ad said that it fits G&L basses and Musicman but i want to know if anyone has ever ordered them before and if they actually do fit.

Their tuners come in at least two sizes. Did you order the one that matches your basses? If so theyll fit fine.

the tuners just came and they're HB1. the problem is they fit on the E A & D slot. i couldn't fit the G string one because the tuner is on the right side like the others and it needs to be on the left and i don't know how to change it.

Isnt there a screw on the opposite side of the tunner knob so you can disassemble them and put the knob on the other side? Thats how the ultralites work but i cant tell if thats how the HB1 work.
