Blacking out hardware?

Sign in to disble this ad
So I just got a Cort Curbow four string bass the other day. (I traded my Ibanez Artist for it) I am trying to become a primarily bass player for several reason. At anyrate, its got a white body, with a black emgest active pickup (that I might swap out) and powder chrome hardware, that i would like to switch out, including the bridge. Where should I look for the parts and how much will it cost me.

Also I am wondering if i can replace the neck, or just get it painted white. The only reason I would like to replace the neck is because I am not a fan of the head stock. Also its a bolt on and not finished on the back, which I would like to get it finished white, and maybe get the headstock refinished white too.

sounds like a lot of work on a non-expensive bass...why not save the money and buy something that meets your criteria more exactly? without all the messing about, unless that's what appeals to you :S ?

You won't find a custom neck for that bass for cheap. It's a wierd design.
