Boise Area Setup/Luthier

Sign in to disble this ad
Sorry to post a thread about this, but I am having a heck of a time finding someone in the Boise, Idaho area to work a bit on my bass. I have searched google, talkbass, and talked to a few of the local stores around the treasure valley.

Basically, I have pretty much learned to do most setup type stuff on the internet and do a pretty good job of working on my own basses. My problem comes in the install of a recently purchased Kahler Tremolo.

I have a late 90's Left Handed Fender Jazz MIJ and a brand new Tremolo sitting at my house. If it was a simple bolt on and setup, I would do it in a second. But, it needs a bit of routing on the body, and I don't have the tools or experience to do a good job of it. I have talked to a few of the local shops in town, but none of them have had reliable responses.

Can anyone help me out or point me in a good direction?

Bump...

Anyone have any sources or ideas? I don't really want to end up fedex'ing the bass to a civilized city to have some work done on it...

Rotten Boise music scene...first no decent shops, then this...
