They come in your choice of 2 heights 1/4 or 5/16 as my stock measures out at these dimensions. I cut a ramp and polish them then shoot lacquer on them so that they keep their appearance longer. I also cut bone, ebony and synthetic on special request. Generally it ships the same day payment is made. ^^^^ this. I haven't used his services personally, but a lot of guys in the Spector club have and I havent heard a single complaint. All say his work is top notch and he comes highly recomended. Throw in the fact that the proceeds are for a good cause and its a win win.

Does anyone know where to find fender size brass nuts? bass parts resource has been out of stock.

I bought a brass nut for a jazz neck years ago and love it. Wouldnt mind another.

Another thing; does anyone know of a good place to buy nuts cut for fretless jazzes?

If you want tone, then go with bone. I dissagree with the notion that nut material has no effect on fretted notes.

why? as soon as you fret a note, the nut is taken out of the equation.
