i'm reading up on the same thing now ... i just posted a comment on problems with mine ..

having a bowed neck makes the action real high ... causing fatigue in the fingers .. and when playing past about the 8th or 9th fret .. the strings actually drop in height over the pickups when playing .. it makes my plucking position go out of whack.

So this is something a truss rob adjustment won't remedy?

It all depends on how much bow is set in the neck. If a truss rod adjutment wont take it out and you could use it to shoot arrows with like a bow...its bad...if its a slight bow...not bad and it can be played with little problems. James Jamersons Funk Machine had from what others say an bow and arrow bowed neck and look what he did with it. I bet that man could of crushed walnuts with his fingers ....i'll bet ya..
