Bridge for 1987 Ibanez SR1000?

Sign in to disble this ad
picked up this vintage Ibanez for $60 off of craigslist. It has a badass II bridge installed. I'd like to pull off the badass and stick it on another bass and replace it with a gold ibanez omni-adjust.

I'm unable to find one ANYWHERE. Seems hard to believe in this internet age. I've also read that a gotoh 206 will work but can't find one of them either.

Any suggestions on where to track down these parts?

Warmoth hasn't carried the 206 in years, as Gotoh doesn't make them anymore. That is EXACTLY the bridge you want - Ibanez used these but simply put Ibanez on the section where GOTOH would usually be. Fender used the 5 string version on the Roscose Beck V as well.

I found a NOS Ibanez version 5 years ago, but it is long gone now.
