Bridge Cover over a Badass III?

Just wondering if anyone can confirm that a Fender bridge cover will fit overtop of a replacement Badass III bridge? Its on an American Deluxe J and I want to make sure it will fit before I order some.

I"m pretty new to bass playing but from what i"ve read all over the net the covers wont fit over the badass bridges as their to wide

I would think particularly on a J bass it would not fit. The greater question is who mess with the stock on as that is one of the better Fenders where your hardware is decent.

I bought it used and the BAIII is already on there. It comes with the original as well so im tempted to just put the original back on and get me some trays.

I'm not sure, but I think it will fit over the BA III. It's not as big as the BA II. I will check mine when I get home. I have a BA I on a p bass, and they are the same size as the III.

It fits over it. but it sits further back on the body than it would over a normal bridge. The badass is still bigger than a standard brige. Also my bridge is countersunk into the body a little bit, but overall length, width, and height are almost exactly the same as the BA III sitting on top of the body. So if you the think the BA III is big. The BA I is huge!
