Bridge Cover over Badass III -- P-bass

Sign in to disble this ad
Do any of Fender's P-bass bridge covers fit over a Badass III?

I found this diagram for the BA-III.

I can't seem to find a bridge cover (locally) for interior measurements. I found a thread from '09, but that was in regards to a J-bass, and I'd assume the OP was inquiring about the J-style bridge cover.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know it wont fit over a Badass II. I think the III's are smaller. I just dont know for sure. I wouldnt cover it though. They look pretty cool on their own.

Good Luck!

For all the research I have done, there are only three different bridge covers: The P, the J and the Tele.

Even my 1998 Squier P bridge will not allow a cover to fit it, although it might be a different bridge as it's very much larger than other bridges on other Squier Ps.

You may also have an interference problem with some of the Deluxe Jazz MiM and putting a Fender J-cover on the bridge.

I got a Fender bridge cover and the p'ups covers on my VM-Jazz with no problems.

For kicks and giggles, the Fender P bridge cover fits nicely on my VM-Jaguar though:

I have to say...I usually don't like maple boards with black inlays, or natural finishes...but that Squier is a very sharp looking bass. Thanks for the input! I may just bite the bullet and buy one online...I just hate having to mail things back when/if they don't pan out the way I had hoped.
