I'd like to find a bridge cover that fits better/taller over the high mass bridge of my CV P
one seller on eBay had one listed as the one to fit over the CV P high-mass bridge, but is not listing this item any more. And not answering my question threw eBay on when more bridge covers will be listed.
any ideas fellas!
thank so much!

Take that silly bridge off it and you can get one to fit - but Leo never thought someone would actually put a HM on his basses so there is no higher-taller-wider cover to be had.

I have one from WD that would fit over an extra tall 5-string bridge. Looks like a regular PBass cover on steroids.

This one is a bit wider (4.306" screw centers) and taller (.988") than a USA Vintage bridge cover plate. Brand New. Real Fender Part 0077335000. UPC 717669730062.
| That's the same size as all of mine so I don't get where they say it's bigger.
What CAN happen is that in shipping they can get a little flatter than they were made and all you have to do is resize it to the correct dimensions with your thumbs - gently. |

I've got one P at 0.98" tall and 4.00" between centers right here in front of me and on my VM Jag it's 1.02" tall and 3.95" between centers.
That's just the fudge zone for shipping squishing and deformation I think.
But a whole 0.65" wider and almost the same size tall is odd to me.
I've not seen one that size and would love to get one for my stock 1998 Squier 4-string Affinity that defies any cover so far.
Post the width inside at the back of the cover, over the actual bridge and let me see if it might fit. |

It'll fit, but I can't say where to get one. Here's a pic - and yes the measurements are as I stated.

Ordered it at a local store and I do know they get most of their parts from WD Music. But I don't see an oversized cover in WD's catalog now.
