Question Bridge direct replacement for a MIM Fender Jazz bass

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi

I want to change the bridge of my MIM Fender Jazz Bass, but here in Colombia is almost imposible to buy it. Also I have to do it by my self, so I donīt want to drill any holes... I want to know which bridge (Brand and model) is the best option.

I have in mind the Badass II (but this one need to be saddled and I donīt know how ), also the gotoh but I donīt know which model will fit. Maybe Hipshot has a direct replacement???

Thanx

I only know of the BadAss II that's direct. I'm curious to know if there is anything else that is direct fit.

That will work, the Gotoh 201 will work as well.

I like the Gotoh better than the Badass II. I've had two basses with Badass II bridges on them, and I never liked that bridge much. Looks cool, that's for sure though. Lots of people make drop-in replacements.

I have used the Gotoh twice and really like it a lot. Really improved the feel of my P, IMO.
