Bridge finish question

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a chrome bridge that for some reason is tarnished badly. It is a special bridge, so I do not want to replace it. I want to have it refinished in black. What would be the best option? Powder coat, anodize??

I would think powder coating would probably scratch too easy. I believe black bridges are usually whats refered to a "black chrome". So I'd imagine it's a chemical process of some sort.
