i asked this int he bass section but it got no love so

im replacing the bridge on a p bass. but i dont want the traditional 'string through' bridge because i hate stringing them! you cant take off the strings and put them back on, or atleast its a pain in the ass to do it.

so what im looking for is a bolt on replacment that you dont have to string through. do i have any options or am i stuck with a badassII?

actually, its pretty easy to. you just straighten out the curved part of the silked end of the string and it goes on like butter.

If you have a newer Strung-thru Pbass, you will want a BA III, not a BA II. The screws line up different and are 3 vs. 5 if I remember correctly.

i think hes meaning one that you can load from the top and dont have to run the string through a hole, the mightymite one on my cort does this. not sure if itll bolt straight onto a p tho
